Member Alert Phishing Fraud Alert Tulare County Federal Credit Union Alerts Members to Phishing and Phone Scams. Tulare County Federal Credit Union will NEVER ask you to verify your personal information including account numbers, Personal Identification Numbers (PINs), SSN, via telephone, email or any online form. If you responded to an email, online form, or suspect that you may have responded to other fraudulent request(s), contact the Credit Union immediately at (559) 686-1791 so we can assist you in taking steps to protect your account. Thank you OFAC Country Blocks The United States Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) requires financial institutions to monitor, decline and report transaction activity for countries against which the United States has imposed financial sanctions. Effective April 21, 2008, CO-OP Financial Services, on your credit union’s behalf, will deny transaction activity from OFAC countries that have financial sanctions. These countries are listed in the table below:
Financial institutions will need to follow the requirements set forth by OFAC for the handling of these transactions. OFAC sanctioned countries will be monitored on your financial institutions behalf. Should there be any changes to the country list, CO-OP Financial Services will notify your credit union.
